Every page on this site is built from plain files, added by pull request. No web form, no account: the repo is the admin panel. Fork it, edit, open a PR — the validator answers in seconds with exactly what's off.

Two file shapes do the work. A page is named after the paid app (data/saas/miro.json carries the money, the reason people pay, and the ranked replacements); the open-source project that answers it is a directory (data/projects/excalidraw/ carries the prompts, the configs, and the measured facts). Adding a project usually means touching both — one file says what you built, the other says what it gets you out of.

Start with CONTRIBUTING.md (the annotated schema and the house rules) and the prompt style guide.

The contributions worth the most right now, in order:

• Run a prompt and report what happened. Nothing here has been through the verification harness yet — a real "it worked / it broke at step 6" report on the prompt-failure template is worth more than any new entry.
• Re-check a low-confidence price. A few SaaS entries say so on their page — reading the vendor's pricing page and updating the file (with the date) is a five-minute PR.
• Add a paid app + its open-source replacement — the full pair, per the schema.
